Fuchsia Society Longevity Awards
Sixty American Fuchsia Society members were given commendations for their dedicated membership in AFS Most outstanding is Marie Rolih for her fifty years of service. She is most famous for her extensive fuchsia lore collection that she has displayed at several fuchsia lore shows. She opened her garden for tours and participated for many years in the San Mateo County Fair. With her late husband John, who was an AFS President, she has visited many Branch meetings and events. Her membership in AFS has been one of active participation. As you read down the list, you will see names you recognize because they have also made a difference with their many volunteer activities in their branches and AFS. All members benefit from the generosity of other members' time and talents.
